Is there a free diet program or service available that actually works?
Question by Charlie_Watts: Is there a free diet program or service available that actually works?
I have no money to sign up for a diet program (like Weight Watchers or South Beach). Is there a diet program that works that you can do that’s free? It would help my waistline and my bottom line. Thx!

www.fitday.com is a great site! It’s not a diet program exactly, but it lets you put in your goals, such as the amount of calories you want to consume per day, how much calcium you want to take in, etc. Then you enter your foods and it calculates the nutritional value for you. It’s kind of fun. You can keep track of your exercise too.

Intro to SparkPeople.com: FREE Diet and Fitness Program

Not to be rude, but take a walk around the block. Stop eating fast food. Also when you grocery shop, shop along the walls of the store, not down the aisles. You know, fruits, veggies, bread, meat, & dairy. The processed food isn’t that healthy for you.
Slimfast.com is a great site. They allow you to meal plan, and not just with their products. You can add foods and it will total your calories for you….it’s a good site.

If you just want to count calories, this is the best site (other than the USDA itself).
