@livinlowcarbman so you are saying meat for breakfast, meat for lunch and meat for dinner? i dont get it, did i miss something??!
That’s funny! Never heard Malkovich before, but I have gotten John C. Reilly.
If you like Induction and want to stay there until you reach goal, I see no problem with it. However, when you hit your goal weight, be careful not to add back carbs too quickly or all the weight you lost will come pouring back on again.
hey, fist you remind me of John Malkovich …its a compliment because his way are pretty cool and he articulate’s well.
alright, I’m on my second week of induction and lost 6 pounds… I only have 15 left to loose so my question is: should I stay on induction until I reach my goal and then goto phase 4? I’d rather loose my weight rather quickly. I train with weight lifting and cardio so I probably loose more fat than the scale shows (since muscle weigh more than fat)
Sure, if you like that kind of thing. Personally, I’d prefer something with a lot more fat and richness like sugar-free, low-carb chocolates.
what about sugar free jello for snacks?
I don’t really eat yogurt, but that Kroger brand sounds pretty good if it only has 3g net carbs.
I found a low-carb yogurt at Kroger. 3 net carbs. Have you heard of this brand?
LC ketchup is okay, but it’s better if you skip it. And no, you didn’t mess up drinking the diet green tea with aspartame. As for exercise, I was doing daily cardio during my weight loss. But now I lift weights twice a day and get in fun cardio activities like volleyball, basketball, etc. each week.
CONGRATS on your success! KEEP IT UP!!! Don’t worry about not being able to exercise right now. It depends on what your starting height and weight is, but if you start low-carb then your body will begin burning fat. GO FOR IT!!!
What about a table spoon of low carb ketchup during induction? Also, did it ruin my whole day since I was drinking diet green tea with asparLame? How much exercise do you get each week?
I love you two:) I actually lost 50 lbs on Atkins back in 1998, so I know that it works quick. I can’t exercise for a few months due to an injury, how many pounds do you think I could loose in a months time if I stay on induction without the activity?
But were you entertained, Martin?
Plus, I wanted the title to include what I talked about in the beginning part of this final video in my Induction series, but YouTube severely limits the length of your titles.
THANK YOU for your very kind comments. KEEP WATCHING, buddy!
A little constructive criticism for you, Jimmy…Seven minutes before addressing the topic given in your title is too long. I watched for those seven minutes, so you’re doing something right
Inducting? Are you glowing yet? Just kidding!
Great point about the nitrate-free meats and it’s always a good idea to read your labels. They put so many hidden sugars in MEATS. UGH!
Great video
. I’m inducting as we speak. One thing I would like to mention that I have was having trouble with is bacon and sausages of all types. In the super market almost all of these contain nitrates(banned from Atkins for good reasons). I had to go to health food stores to find them nitrate free. So for anyone here that loves bacon like I do CHECK THE INGREDIENTS!
Thanks again guys. Keep up the great work
It’s our pleasure. If you STICK WITH IT no matter what, there’s no reason why it won’t work to help you shed the pounds and keep your health in tip-top shape.
I’m giving low-carb a try and on second day of induction. I hope this works while I’m vacation in Tempe, AZ this week!
Thanks for the information, you two!
EXACTLY!!!
So true but the thing is. I don’t WANT to eat the high carb foods. I love being able to fit into my clothes and not have to pull out garment after garment and tossing them on the bed because I am too fat to get into something I use to wear comfortably. That is a thing of the past for me! Yippee
THANKS for getting it, Anita! Once you start livin’ la vida low-carb and experience what it’s REALLY all about, you’ll never eat any other way again.
A gentleman my husband works for lost over 200 hundred pounds on low carb only to go off of it and put it back and then some. His excuse was that low carb is so limited and boring. Not so if you are creative. I can make a substitute for just about anything I am craving. It comes down to being determined to eat the right things. Again thanks to people like you they learn that low carb people learn what is acceptable and what isn’t.
Love you two, Anita
We aim to please.
thanks you guys. very hepful
It can be repetitious, It can be repetitious, It can be repetitious, It can be repetitious…okay, I think you get the idea.
THANKS Sabz!
YEAH!!! We like to hear that.
